Day 01Arrival in Paro – Transfer to Thimphu

Meet our representative at Paro International Airport and transfer to Thimphu.
Enjoy a scenic drive through mountain roads, forests, and villages.
Stop at Chuzom Bridge to witness the confluence of the Paro & Thimphu rivers.
Check in to your hotel in Thimphu.
If time permits, explore the local markets or experience the city’s unique traffic-light-free roads.

Day 02Thimphu Sightseeing

Visit:
National Memorial Chorten – A tribute to Bhutan’s late king.
Buddha Dordenma – A massive golden Buddha overlooking Thimphu Valley.
Changangkha Monastery – A historic 12th-century temple.
Royal Takin Preserve – Home to Bhutan’s national animal, the Takin.
Tashichho Dzong – Bhutan’s glorious fortress and government seat.

Day 03Thimphu to Paro – Sightseeing

Drive back to Paro, stopping at: Tachogang Lhakhang – A riverside monastery accessible via a hanging bridge.
Check in to the hotel in Paro and head out for sightseeing: Ta Dzong (National Museum) – Showcasing Bhutan’s art & history, Rinpung Dzong (Fortress of Heap of Jewels) – A fine example of Bhutanese architecture.

Day 04Tiger’s Nest Hike & Paro Sightseeing

Hike to the famous Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest), perched on a cliff 900m above Paro Valley.
Enjoy stunning views & peaceful moments at the monastery.
Visit: Drukgyel Dzong – A historic fortress with fascinating ruins, Kyichu Lhakhang – One of Bhutan’s oldest and most sacred temples.

Payment Policy

More than 40 days for the trip – 25% of the total trip cost
40 – 30 Days for the trip – 35% of the total trip cost
20 -15 days for the trip – 40% of the total trip cost

Cancellation policy

30 Days for the trip – We don’t charge you anything except your booking amount. Booking amount is non-refundable.
30 – 15 Days for the trip – If you’re canceling the trip and opting for a refund within this period then 50% of the total trip cost will be charged as a cancellation fee and remaining sum would be refunded.
15 – 07 Days for the trip – If you’re canceling the trip and opting for a refund within this period then 75% of the total trip cost will be charged as a cancellation fee and remaining sum would be refunded.
Less than 07 Days for the trip – If you’re canceling the trip and opting for a refund within this period then 100% of the total trip cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
You are not applicable for a refund if you fail to show up on the day of departure under the given timeline that has been provided to you beforehand.
If a trip is called off at the last moment due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh, etc.) then the participants would be provided with a voucher for the same amount that can be used within 365 days of the issuance date for any package worth the same amount.
If a trip has to be aborted midway due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh, etc.), in that case, no refund would be provided. Travassa Holidays will not bear any extra expense due to such circumstances.
