Day 01Arrival in Paro – Transfer to Thimphu (2 Nights)

Day 02Thimphu City Tour

Visit: National Memorial Chorten & Buddha Statue, Takin Zoo (see Bhutan’s unique national animal), Trashichho Dzong (view from outside), National Library & Folk Heritage Museum
Explore the Handicraft Bazaar & Centenary Park.
Enjoy a romantic walk in the city, visit Clock Tower Square for shopping.

Day 03Thimphu – Punakha via Dochula Pass (2 Nights)

Scenic drive through Dochula Pass (10,000 ft), offering mesmerizing views.
Stop at 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens, a perfect spot for couple photos.
Visit the Royal Botanical Park in Lamperi.
Explore the Chimi Lhakhang (Fertility Temple) – a unique experience for newlyweds!

Day 04Punakha – Phobjikha (Gangtey Valley) – Punakha

Drive back to Paro, stopping at Chuzom Check Post for a short scenic break.

Visit: Paro Dzong & National Museum (Ta Dzong), Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest and most sacred temples, Ruins of Drukgyel Dzong, with its romantic ancient charm
Drive to the base of Tiger’s Nest Monastery, a breathtaking experience for couples.
Evening at leisure – explore Paro town, shop for souvenirs, and enjoy a quiet dinner.

Payment Policy

More than 40 days for the trip – 25% of the total trip cost
40 – 30 Days for the trip – 35% of the total trip cost
20 -15 days for the trip – 40% of the total trip cost

Cancellation policy

30 Days for the trip – We don’t charge you anything except your booking amount. Booking amount is non-refundable.
30 – 15 Days for the trip – If you’re canceling the trip and opting for a refund within this period then 50% of the total trip cost will be charged as a cancellation fee and remaining sum would be refunded.
15 – 07 Days for the trip – If you’re canceling the trip and opting for a refund within this period then 75% of the total trip cost will be charged as a cancellation fee and remaining sum would be refunded.
Less than 07 Days for the trip – If you’re canceling the trip and opting for a refund within this period then 100% of the total trip cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
You are not applicable for a refund if you fail to show up on the day of departure under the given timeline that has been provided to you beforehand.
If a trip is called off at the last moment due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh, etc.) then the participants would be provided with a voucher for the same amount that can be used within 365 days of the issuance date for any package worth the same amount.
If a trip has to be aborted midway due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh, etc.), in that case, no refund would be provided. Travassa Holidays will not bear any extra expense due to such circumstances.
