Day 01Arrival in Paro – Transfer to Thimphu

Arrive at Paro Airport, enjoy stunning mountain views during the flight.
Transfer to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan.
Rest of the day at leisure.
Night Stay: Thimphu

Day 02Thimphu City Tour

Explore Thimphu’s unique traffic control system (no traffic lights!).
Visit: National Memorial Chorten & Buddha Statue, Takin Zoo (see Bhutan’s national animal), Trashichho Dzong (glimpse from outside), National Library & Folk Heritage Museum
Enjoy a walk through the Handicraft Bazaar & city center.
Night Stay: Thimphu

Day 03Thimphu – Punakha via Dochula Pass

Scenic drive through Dochula Pass (10,000 ft) with panoramic mountain views.
Stop at Hongtsho Village & 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens.
Walk through Lobesa Village to visit Chimi Lhakhang (Fertility Temple).
Visit the Punakha Dzong, one of Bhutan’s most stunning fortresses.
Night Stay: Punakha

Day 04Punakha – Paro

Drive back to Paro via the Babesa Express Highway.
Stop at Chuzom Check Post for a short walk.
Free time to explore Paro town.
Night Stay: Paro

Day 05Paro Sightseeing

Visit: Paro Dzong & National Museum (Ta Dzong), Kyichu Lhakhang, a sacred 7th-century monastery, Base of Tiger’s Nest Monastery (optional hike for those interested)
Free time for shopping and relaxation.

Day 06Departure from Paro

After breakfast, transfer to Paro Airport for departure
Private transfer to Paro International Airport for your flight home.

Payment Policy

More than 40 days for the trip – 25% of the total trip cost
40 – 30 Days for the trip – 35% of the total trip cost
20 -15 days for the trip – 40% of the total trip cost

Cancellation policy

30 Days for the trip – We don’t charge you anything except your booking amount. Booking amount is non-refundable.
30 – 15 Days for the trip – If you’re canceling the trip and opting for a refund within this period then 50% of the total trip cost will be charged as a cancellation fee and remaining sum would be refunded.
15 – 07 Days for the trip – If you’re canceling the trip and opting for a refund within this period then 75% of the total trip cost will be charged as a cancellation fee and remaining sum would be refunded.
Less than 07 Days for the trip – If you’re canceling the trip and opting for a refund within this period then 100% of the total trip cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
You are not applicable for a refund if you fail to show up on the day of departure under the given timeline that has been provided to you beforehand.
If a trip is called off at the last moment due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh, etc.) then the participants would be provided with a voucher for the same amount that can be used within 365 days of the issuance date for any package worth the same amount.
If a trip has to be aborted midway due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh, etc.), in that case, no refund would be provided. Travassa Holidays will not bear any extra expense due to such circumstances.
