Day 02Trek to Devkund Waterfall

  • 04:00 AM: Reach Base Village (Patnus), freshen up

  • 05:00 AM: Breakfast

  • 06:00 AM: Drive to Bhira (10 mins) – Trek start point

  • 06:30 AM: Begin the trek through scenic jungle & water streams

  • 08:30 AM: Reach Devkund Waterfall – Enjoy the view & vibe

  • 01:00 PM: Reach parking point, board the bus

Tips for a Smooth Trek
  • Wear good trekking shoes – Preferably with grip and ankle support, as the trail has slippery patches and water crossings.
  • Carry a light backpack – Keep essentials like water, snacks, and a poncho or raincoat during monsoon season.
  • Stay hydrated – Carry at least 1–2 liters of water, and avoid plastic bottles
  • Keep electronics safe – Use waterproof pouches or ziplocks for your phone and gadgets.
  • Listen to your trek leaders – Stick with the group and follow safety instructions during stream crossings.
  • Pack an extra pair of clothes – You’ll likely get wet at the waterfall or during the trek.
  • Carry basic meds or personal essentials – If you have motion sickness or specific needs, carry those medicines.
Things to carry
  • ID Proof – Aadhar Card / Driving License (Carry a copy too)
  • Backpack – Preferably waterproof or with a rain cover
  • Trekking Shoes – Or sturdy sports shoes with good grip (essential for stream crossings)
  • Clothing – 1 pair Trekking Pants (compulsory), 2 T-Shirts (full or half sleeves), Raincoat / Waterproof Jacket / Windcheater, Hand Towel / Napkin, Two pairs of socks
  • Water Bottle – Carry at least 2–3 liters (prefer reusable bottles)
  • Snacks & Ready-to-Eat Food – Dry fruits, energy bars, biscuits, Chikki, chocolate, or plum cake
  • Torch – With extra batteries (very important for pre-sunrise travel)
  • Personal Medicines – Any specific medications you need
  • Basic First Aid – Band-aids, pain relief spray, etc.

Is this trek suitable for beginners?

Yes! Devkund is a beginner-friendly trek with moderate difficulty. If you’re reasonably fit and follow the guide’s instructions, you’ll enjoy it.

Can I swim at the waterfall?

Swimming is not allowed for safety reasons as Devkund has a natural plunge pool with unpredictable depth and currents.

What’s the total trek distance?

The total trekking distance is around 6 km (to and fro), taking about 2–3 hours each way depending on the group’s pace.

What kind of transport is provided?

We provide private AC buses for pick-up and drop from multiple points across Mumbai.

Is it safe to trek during monsoon?

Yes, but it can be slippery. We take extra precautions and only proceed if weather permits. Proper trekking shoes are mandatory.

Cancellation policy

30 Days for the trip – We don’t charge you anything except your booking amount. Booking amount is non-refundable.

30 – 15 Days for the trip – If you’re canceling the trip and opting for a refund within this period then 50% of the total trip cost will be charged as a cancellation fee and remaining sum would be refunded.

15 – 07 Days for the trip – If you’re canceling the trip and opting for a refund within this period then 75% of the total trip cost will be charged as a cancellation fee and remaining sum would be refunded.

Less than 07 Days for the trip – If you’re canceling the trip and opting for a refund within this period then 100% of the total trip cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.

  • You are not applicable for a refund if you fail to show up on the day of departure under the given timeline that has been provided to you beforehand.
  •  If a trip is called off at the last moment due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh, etc.) then the participants would be provided with a voucher for the same amount that can be used within 365 days of the issuance date for any package worth the same amount.
  • If a trip has to be aborted midway due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh, etc.), in that case, no refund would be provided. Travassa Holidays will not bear any extra expense due to such circumstances.
