Itinerary

Day 00Departure From Delhi

  • Board overnight Volvo from Delhi to Kullu
  • Get ready for some mountain anticipation as the bus rolls through Himalayan foothills

It starts with a night ride—the kind that whispers what’s coming. No heavy lifting yet, just some playlists, road banter, and the first signs of getting away from it all.

Day 01Hello Kullu: Breathe, Roam, Relax

  • Check-in to your Kullu hotel
  • Leisure day: browse markets, pick up souvenirs, do nothing—or do it all
  • Dinner and overnight stay

It’s your first day up north. Breathe in that mountain air, let your boots find their pace, and maybe spot a river or two tumbling nearby.

Day 02 Sarahan Via Jalori Pass

  • Ride through Jalori Pass
  • Visit Bhimakali Temple
  • Check-in at Sarahan and settle in for the night

This day is about the ride—dense woods, hairpin curves, and an altitude shift that’ll wake up every sense. Jalori Pass doesn’t just offer views—it hands you entire panoramas.

Day 03Into Sangla & Chitkul’s Calm

  • Head to Sangla via Chitkul Village
  • Explore the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibetan border
  • Dinner and overnight stay

Chitkul feels like a postcard that forgot time moved on. The wooden houses, mountain dogs, and rushing Baspa river—all just work together.

Day 04Big Terrain: Sangla to Kaza

  • Pass through Tabo, Nako, Gue, Dhankar
  • Visit Nako Lake and Gue Monastery
  • Reach Kaza, check in, and rest up

From green to barren, from rivers to monasteries carved into rock—this stretch is long, but it’s layered with stop-after-stop that doesn’t let you lose attention.

Day 05Around Kaza: Monasteries, Fossils, and Altitude

  • Visit Ki Monastery, Hikkim, Komik, Langza
  • Explore fossil spots, ancient homes, and far-flung villages
  • Return to Kaza for the night

This day is for stories—from monks to fossils, from earth’s deepest secrets to some of the world’s highest villages.

Day 06Kaza to Chandratal via Kunzum Pass

  • Visit Kibber, Chicham Bridge
  • Ride through Kunzum Pass
  • Camp overnight near Chandratal

The lake appears suddenly—turquoise, still, surrounded by silence. It’s the kind of silence you remember long after. The night under stars here? You’ll wish it lasted a little longer.

Day 07Ride to Manali via Atal Tunnel

  • Cross Atal Tunnel
  • Stopover in Solang Valley
  • Stay overnight in Manali

From raw remoteness to café towns—you’ll feel the shift as you roll into Manali. Great for a hot shower and a solid meal.

Day 08Back to Delhi

  • Explore Manali on your own
  • Overnight Volvo back to Delhi

Maybe squeeze in a temple visit or some last-minute momo hunting. This ride back’s for swapping photos and winding down.

Day 09Arrive in Delhi

  • Reach Delhi with dirt on your boots and a hundred stories to tell

Trip ends with tired legs, full memory cards, and stories waiting to be retold.
